SIMEÓN, THE ARCHITECT OF COLOR AND TEXTURE

One can say that Simeón Gonzáles Ayquipa is architect of color and texture, because his cubic and abstract style is architectural and evolutionary, in the sense that, first, these are the main characteristics of the stage he is presently in, and since quite a few years now. Then, Simeón has a broad knowledge and long practice of the techniques he uses, to set his inner universe, as well as his perception of the outer universe he lives in, on the support he chooses, according to what he wants to achieve, organizing and elaborating structures which, in many cases, seem to be directly inspired by modern architectural shapes, typical of our large cities, such as concrete buildings, metallic structures and glass, which people who live in those cities, are perfectly familiarized with, and which, in a certain way, they have learned to integrate and like, as they are quite well in tune and synchronized with them.
